Ryan and Samantha

Ryan and Samantha are missionaries to the unreached Somali people in East Africa. They are currently living in Nairobi, Kenya, which is home to over 600,000 Somalis, making it the largest Somali community outside Somalia. Somali people across Africa hold to fundamentalist Islamic beliefs and are highly suspicious of non-Somalis, making them a very difficult community to infiltrate. Thankfully, Somalis in Nairobi are slightly more open and tolerant of outsiders.

Ryan studied theology in Cape Town, South Africa and completed a pastoral internship in Kitwe, Zambia. One of his current projects is the translation and publication of John’s gospel in the Somali language. To give towards their ministry, please visit their IBMGlobal profile
